[Day 43] Leaf

 

Underside of a leaf....

how something so simple

can be so profound

Realizing that You were there

in the forest, those years ago

the breeze shaking the 

lone leaf still clinging to 

a snow laden branch

Seeing you there filled me

with hope, strength, longing

all from a leaf,

one leaf among the billions in 

that forest, and yet...the

one leaf, just like me,

one of billions,

chosen.
